I work technical support at a call center in Canada. Our phones have codes for all idles we go into. 1 for person, 2 for break etc etc. The thing is, to turn the damned phone off and go home you have to assign it a reason. The code is 42. 42 is sign off end of shift. It makes me quitte happy, and it is the answer to the question as far as I am concerned.
