My day today:Rolled in at 9, grabbed a coffee, checked Reddit, checked e-mail, chatted on AIM, answered my only phone call for the day, checked out this stupid PDF to Flash animation crap my boss wanted me to "analyze", went to grab a turkey sandwich and an iced tea, came back, watched bad driver and Atheist Experience videos on Youtube, read Digg and Reddit for about 3 hours, posted this comment, and the rest of my day will be drinking my Sobe, answer maybe one more phone call assuming my phone ever rings, chat on AIM a bit more, then go home. Actually, this kind of sucks. 9-5 grinds are awful when you're bored and its only 2:13PM right now. Total work time: maybe 12 minutes?

precisely, ive had busy jobs and now i have a boring job. i dont take my 'easy' job for granted and everyone thinks im so 'lucky' to do what i do. everyone thinks they can do my job, but what services do you restart when clients cant connect to exchange? exactly. go get your own admin job. 8-5 sucks balls when nothing is going on. even days when i have issues, like a draftsman's system wouldnt boot today, worked with bartPE, UBCD, system restore, etc to get it back up, nothing worked, took 5 hours to troubleshoot and finally reinstall windows, rejoin to domain, reinstall apps, etc. however, come 2 oclock, i was bored as s**t with absolutely nothing to do. only 32 minutes to go, and im still bored. anyone got any good youtube links?

If the network is running fine, and there are no machine issues, I'm playing flash games & watching youtube/break/liveleak/etc., & stumbling upon all damn day & it's so boring it sucks sometimes. There are days I just pray for a switch or a server to just s**t itself without warning.
