geekpolitics.com — Ron on the stimulus plan, the dollar, and the 3 Republican Senators that have agreed to vote with the Democrats on the government stimulus package. With RINOs like these, who needs 60 in the Senate to avoid filibusters.

Understood, but there's also a lot of social welfare and government spending in this bill that has nothing to do with "stimulus"!

I am 100% for this spending bill and any other spending bills that they can pull out of their ass.Bailouts--Yes!Stimulus Checks--Yes!Federal Infrastructure Projects--Yes!Reparations--Oh hell Yes!Mandatory Service--Yes! Yes! Yes!They are only hastening the awakening of the American people. When most businesses decide to fold up and walk away from a climate in which success only produces penalties and animosity, when the vast majority of people are dependant upon government jobs, healthcare, and food programs, when the failures of our foreign policy becomes glaringly evident, when propaganda cannot comfort the minds of men, when a man's autonomy/human dignity is stolen in order to provide for the collective, then and only then will there be an awakening. This is a very exciting time to be alive. The grand experiment of complete control over a citizenry that once flaunted its liberties and freedoms is accelerating at a pace never before seen. Those that are on the side of the collectivist altruism philosophy do not yet realize what they have been promoting and even they will awake in horror to what they have accomplished.

I couldn't care less what you call these guys but I'm not going to put up with the implication that 'republican' somehow stands for fiscal responsibility and a small government. I'm not a part of the liberal digg crowd but I'm not going to put up with this level of bulls**t.The 8 years under the Bush administration was the most antagonistic towards libertarian ideals in the history of the united states and bush had nearly full backing from the members of his party in congress. I don't agree with the republicans in question but if they're rino's then that is true for every republican in congress except for a couple. If republicans want to be thought of as a libertarian leaning party they're going to have to bust their asses and f**king earn it. A good libertarian congress isn't going to cut it either I'll need a strong libertarian presidential candidate before I ever vote for a republican president again. Republicans turn into big government socialists when one of them is in the white house. Romney, Palin, Huckabee, none of these focks has the credibility to convince me that they'll actually support libertarian ideals if they get to the white house and if any of them is nominated in 2012 they'll crash and burn regardless of how good or bad Obama does in his first term. Republicans have taken libertarian support for granted for too long. They can go f**k themselves, they've sold themselves out to socialist religious/business factions and don't represent any of the ideals that individualists appreciate. Also, buried for thinking that disagreeing with your idiocy means that I didn't read the link. Oh yay, there was a Ron Paul video. He's pretty much the only libertarian in congress and he was the laughing stock of the republican primaries. f**k what he said and f**k his party.
