I know they are doing them all in 3D. But if Katz is so gung ho - let's see them released ONLY in 3D (no regular release at all) if there's that much demand and see what happens.
I have to question this article. Is the 3D tv they're talking about any different than the ones on the market? We bought a Samsung, LED DLP tv back in 2007 and it's already 3D capable. It does require special glasses we have to get from Samsung, but since nothing on the market really supports it, why buy them? If that's the same tech the article is referring to then it's been on the market for 2 years already. Relating back to the Avatar Xbox 360 issue, that's like the first form of media I'd be able to use on it.What I was really hoping for in a 3D tv is that the screen acts as your "glasses" so that you don't have to wear any. That would be best thing to come out of it, instead of everyone in the room needing to wear the special viewing glasses.

I saw these at CES, you do NOT need those funky glasses. You DO need to sit in front of the TV. It's pretty damn impressive.
