electronista.com — Apple may launch its iPhone campaign in Europe with a 3G-capable iPhone with enhanced storage, according to what appears to be a leaked ad from T-Mobile Germany. The ad promises HSDPA Internet access (up to 3.6Mbps!) and 16GB of flash. Hope you didn't buy that $399 iPhone assuming it wouldn't get better!

welcome to the cellphone market. Nokia et al release a new model every six months. Apple are going to have to do the same to keep up.

That's a ridiculous comment. Who says you HAVE to get one?

"We all" do NOT have email capabilities in our phones, And certainly not push-style mailboxes. If I MMS someone, they don't have to go to the email application and sync in order to see the message.

this one needs an 'obvious' tag.Apple's marketing strategy:1) Make product2) Release product (to early adopters)3) Release updated version (to pull in more customers and get the early adopters to upgrade)4) Profit!5) return to step 3

yeah, add to that 02 in the UK (the company that is going to be selling the iPhone over here) recently converted to edge, means there probably won't be any 3G in the iPhone, at least at first.

The good news is that the EU Competition Authority will probably force Apple to release an unlocked version. So as long as you don't mind paying shipping fees, import taxes etc. Americans should be able to get one too.

It's a fantastic phone. I live in the UK and managed to get a great deal on the iPhone 3G 8GB Black version using:http://www.mobile-deals.org.ukPaying £35 per month for 600 minutes and 500 texts.

I don't know what land you're living in but I have my WHOLE address book in my phone (emails, fax numbers, birth dates, street addresses, nick-names, etc.), so you know, to me it's easy as pie to email a photo from the iphone, I just choose the person from the address book. And all of this is synced from the computer so I never really enter anything into the phone ... maybe every once in a while. Actually since I made this post probably more than half the people I know now have iPhones and most of the rest have some sort of smart phone that does email. SMS / MMS is on its way out if you ask me, it's so 2000s.
