I've played Marble Blast Gold on Linux. It's closer to Marble Madness than something like Monkey Ball is, but the chase camera and FPS-like controls still make it a completely different (and for me, less fun) game.Props to Xbox Live Arcade for letting indie developers produce games for it, though.

The original marble madness was 3D, but it had a fixed camera position. Do you really *want* to have to worry about the camera and the marble moving?
