I really like Avid's logo and Push the Bottle. Both very very creative, something I could never think of. More often than not when it comes to desiging a logo I find myself staring at a blank Photoshop document. LOL.

Good logo, but waaaay overrated. I mean every figgin' logo blog has to pull out the FedEx logo like it changed the world or something.

I would imagine close to all of these (minus Avid) are made up company names chosen by the designer because they have a logo concept in mind that they want to try out. Some clever ideas here but unfortunately it's rare in the real world, that a company with a name like 'Frogami', 'I Hate You' or 'Shocked' would approach you for design work.Also grabbing a bunch of screenshots from logopond's highest rated designs, numbering them and adding a sentence of text to each isn't an article ;)
