The team used the X-rays of the European light source to image two kilogrammes of the fossil tree resin with a technique that allows rapid survey of large amounts of opaque amber.

No one mentioned Christianity, you did.You seem to say that the only Christians are ones who believe in anti-science, so mocking anti-science is anti-Christian. It's not. Carbon dating is not used for dating the age of the Earth. It's accuracy is up to around 50,000 years. That wasn't really the point. It was that learning these theories were true, it doesn't disprove that a God put these plans in motion. He could either be or not be, and we don't have proof to change anyone's minds on that.
