Maxell announced a restructuring of optical disk operations on 10-16-06 so that they can give more effort to the production of blue-ray disks. They gave no mention or hint of a new bleeding edge tech or a showcase on their site. Most companies that are publicly traded like to hint around that a industry changing tech is coming. Or at least make mention of the showcase their site.
