Marvel reports it as 250 different comics (with probably an average of 10 back-story issues per comic). However, <a class="user" href="http://www.marvel.com">http://www.marvel.com</a> is just about dugg to death. Still, it would be nice to not have to click through a blog-type post to get to the actual information.
Another rule of the "internets" can apply then, any data that has been publicly uploaded has already been downloaded, and is therefore always accessible by all from that point onwards.
That doesn't make it less illegal, that just means they do not care. Distribution rights are the same regardless of whether they want to pursue it or not.
I just found this having realized that Marvel's apparently been crippled by some sort of hack. Is this message here something you actually got from Marvel, or something you cooked up in speculation "in event of" a crash or trouble with the archive?
