The guy should've done more research . Totem uses 'gstreamer' as a default backend and you can alternatively choose 'xine' . Kaffeine is the exact opposite as you can use 'gstreamer' as an alternative .
@nmnnotmynamePlease don't call Free Software 'freeware'. That completely ignores the core value that you're being given Freedom, not a freebie. It's also inaccurate as you can sell Free Software.
