hrworld.com — Ah, celebrities. They seem to have it all — fame, looks and money. Stars have the world at their beck and call — until they call out the wrong things to the wrong people. Though one might think a person so blessed would mind his or her manners, the truth is that many a superstar has crossed the line by publicly spouting off slurs and stereotypes.

I think the reason Imus was above Richards is because it was hardly the first time he'd spouted racist or sexist comments. For Richards, it was the first time (that he was caught, anyhow)...

Yes, they are assh**es, but these are hardly capital crimes. Meanwhile, the Bush Cabal continues the brutal occupation of Iraq, and the Israelis have murdered yet another Palestinian boy.

Why is Jesse Jackson missing from the list? He use the racial slur "gentlemen" after calling for it being eliminated from the English language. That said, I agree with the first poster. People make mistakes, and say terrible things. Sometimes they mean them, sometimes they don't, and in many of these cases, they certainly regretted them afterward... True remorse beats the hell out of sensitivity training any day.-Pie
