wtf no legos? seriously no legos? a mine field of legos overshadowed by a enormous mountain of more legos dominated the landscape in my basement throughout all of my childhood. It fostered my creativity and coaxed my imagination into existence. Lego paid for a trip for me to denmark cause i won a lego building contest when i was five. Lego was my best friend when i was out with pnuemonia when i was 9. I used to go home every day after school and run to the basement just to build legos and they dont even mention them?!this article sucks dugg down.

@22I broke my leg on a scooter when they were popular. I was 11 in 2000, when I went to the hospital there was 1 adult and 3 kids getting treated for broken bones due to scooter related injuries as well. The adult had a compound fracture apparently. O_oThey don't seem that dangerous until you go flying after trying to jump em off a ramp...

Construction toys are the best. I used to build intricate fortresses with my Lincoln Logs. And the Tinker Toy Ferris wheel was always fun to build. Some of the newer ones are crazy fun, too. The K'nex roller coaster from a few years ago was totally badass; I remember my brother and me spending a whole Christmas break building both configurations -- the one with the loop was awesome and the car even made it through without falling about half the time. You know, my mom told me she's going to force us to go through the basement and decide what stuff we want to keep over Christmas. If that K'nex roller coaster kit is still down there, I'm so taking it.
