Write-up sucks. It's patently stupid to talk about free plug-ins for Photoshop while neglecting to mention that most of the linked plug-ins are WINDOWS ONLY.Idiotsticks should think more about his audience. Photoshop users are heavily slanted to Macintosh.Don't waste our time. Include in write-ups whether downloads are platform specific!
Speak for yourself, please. I have to use Macs at work for graphic manipulation, (dual processor intels) and have programs just quitting all the time. At home I use PCs only and have absolutely no complaints.
I don't know how true it is that most designers work on macs, anymore. I'm a designer and have a mac (because I love them so.. ) but I get most of my actual work done on a PC. It's all web stuff. Since web browsers and Flash both work differently from system to system, I would actually recommend working on a PC so you get the same experience that 95% of your audience will, when viewing the page or web game/app. The Flash player for the Mac is still garbage, compared the the PC version. Oh.. and those plugins are still s**tty, but some of you probably think the bevel/emboss filter is neat, too.
