Each job the stimulus "saved" could have been used to give about 10 people 100k outright. Poeple complain all the time about the rich getting richer, what the stimulus did was give away money to the very rich, and at the same time giving raises to a lot of civil servants who have neevr had to even face a paycut, much less layoffs. So, awesome job!
"We are over 1 year into Obama's administration."Did I sleep in too late today and it's next month already? It's really sad when I come on Digg and can't tell if people are trolls or just f**king stupid.
Ohio is s**thole, I have no idea how I'm ever going to escape if there's no jobs to finance it. When you have to seriously consider leaving the state with $40 in your pocket, there's something wrong.
@kaelyiestaWow. An educated, well thought out response. I didn't expect to find that here.If you have to go as far back as Marx and Hegel for the definition of communism, you're casting aside a lot of how the word and principles have changed over the years. Through years of propaganda, the American definition of "communism" has changed somewhat, and doesn't line up with Lenin's version of the same principle. Casting aside Americans who can't tell "communism" from "fascism", of course. In modern English, communism is the opposite of a meritocracy. Everyone's needs are met equally. ExodusD has tempered it slightly by stating that only basic needs are met. The meritocracy today is a fully unregulated capitalist market.
