"2. According to a study by the Rudd Center for Food Policy and Obesity at Yale University, nearly half the 4,000 people responding to an online survey about obesity said they would give up a year of their life rather than be fat."Stop eating for a year and you won't be fat anymore.
Sociologists tell us that fat people are looked down upon because humans instinctively think that being overweight is a sign of laziness and lack of self-control. You know why people think that? Because being overweight is a sign of laziness and lack of self control!Medical condition? It's the dance of chicken and egg, lard ass. Genetics? Maybe genetics loaded the gun, but you pulled the f**king trigger and reloaded twice!
We know people are fat. We know why people are fat. We even know which geographic locations contains the highest concentrations of fat people. Who cares? The problem they should be tackling is how to get more people to STOP BEING FAT.I would love to see some kind of government subsidy for companies that create a daily exercise routine for their employees, maybe even pay their employees to be there. Far cheaper to pay an extra 50 a week than the rising health care costs.
It's an average if you have 160, 175, and a 225 man you get roughly 184.But what they dont cover height at all. Each generation is marginally taller than the next generation. That figure would mean more if they told us when the 170lbs/male was first used.
Studies show that most fat people are fat because they eat too much and don't exercise. Very few people have real medical reasons for being fat. Fat people even tend to have faster metabolisms than other people because eating raises your metabolism.People today eat much more than they did 30 years ago when we didn't have an obesity epidemic. Servings sizes have increased so much in restaurants that the average person doesn't know what a normal serving is anymore so they eat too much at home as well.

"7. Airlines spent $275 million on 350 million additional gallons of fuel in 2000 to compensate for the additional weight of their passengers. Now we know why the peanuts are no longer free! "High quality aircraft fuel was costing just $0.785 per gallon in 2000, compared to $1.46 - $1.79 per gallon for retail customers ( http://www.eia.doe.gov/emeu/international/gas1.html ) ! Why??
