Not a single app in the list that was a "can't live without" and I'm a linux fan. In fact, only one of them even caught my eye. Following their install instructions brings insult to how software is installed today with linux. Give it up guys. If you can't provide packages that meet all dependencies up front without any work on my part drop your package and go live on an island.$

there one thing miss: all those commands need a shell(bash/zsh/csh/...) to take place.
