LOL That's about right too. hehehe No thanks. Linux is OK to play around with, but if you want to get any serious work done go out and buy a Mac with Mac OS X. I use Windows XP sometimes, but strictly for gaming purposes. Otherwise, I cannot stand using Windows XP.
See, this is an example of a perfectly reasonable response that peaks MS customers like myself to try out Linux. This is as opposed to what the other lunatics on this board normally do.Thank you.
I have the same thing too. I know Windows inside out, but Vista is quite different to what I've learnt. It's only really the filesystem which has stayed the same. Everything else seems just as different as a switch to a different OS altogether.

IMO, every year is the year of Linux on the desktop for someone. The mass exodus from windows will happen gradually.

Savvy user base with a thick hide keeps the OS healthy... Also keeps it niche, but you can't have your cake and eat it too...

A DRM/activation/WGA/spyware free OS with a reasonable price, EULA, and system requirements does not seem unpleasant.
