The comment is to express a comical example of irresponsible computer behavior. Way to be a dick.

@ djgreedo RE: " I'd rather pay for Windows and use a serial number than get Mac OS for free and use a Mac any day."I was with you on that score until I actually bought a MacBook Pro over a year ago (had installed Gentoo, Ubuntu and Mint Linux distros and found how much better Linux ran on a PC).The only reason that I haven't yet deleted my Windows partition is that I like to play a bit of TF2 and ET every now and then.Windows is my games OS, while everything else works so much better on OSX.

Absolutely correct.Even if a "worm" was able to get itself installed on a Mac or Linux OS (say, as a disguised Trojan), EVEN THEN that worm would be unable to spread AT ALL as opposed to the ease with which an infected Windows PC will spread worms and viruses. It's almost as if Windows was DESIGNED to allow worms and viruses to run rampant over the internet.

@ DarkShroud, Did you even READ how this worm exploit works?Windows Firewall software did NOT stop the worm, that's why Microsoft had to have a software patch to plug up the target vector that this particular worm was exploiting.

Zing!

Actually, if you access material on your computer likely to be infected with a worm, then you should REALLY be running a *nix based OS. Windows is a very well designed OS if you like to spread viruses and worms.

There are lots of updates to their operating systems that even normal legit users can't get without contacting support. Did I say they released all of their security updates to everyone? No. Perhaps it reads as if implied. A comment is a comment, not a thorough article written to cover all the bases.
