corporatism is a collectivist ideology. Under a free market society, they could only exist when chartered, and just as easily dissolved. In the original free market society under TJ, he was very wary of corporations and held them on a tight leash. IMO, a corporation is basically a quasi-government. It should not be allowed be considered a virtual entity, and should not be able to own property of any kind--especially real estate and intellectual property. If I had my way, it would not be allowed to have capital either, only allowed to trade for resources and labor with shares.

You might want to look at another profession if you're bringing in $1000 a year. Because unless you're handicapped (physically or mentally), a minimum wage job earns more than 10k a year.

The liquidity structure created by fannie mae and freddie mac is the only reason originators could participate in fraud. Without the two GSEs the originators have to take on the risks themselves and would be defrauding themselves. The problem is we treated a non-liquid market as a liquid one so that we could standardize mortgages as securities and trade them as such. The liquidity was a myth built on the backs of government hidden balance sheets at fannie and freddie.
