techcrunch.com— Flickr added a geotagging feature yesterday that allows users to tag a photo with its physical location on a Yahoo Map. In the 24 hours after launch, 1,234,384 photos were geotagged.

I didn't geotag any of the pictures of my daughter that I took at home. Other than that, I love the feature. Especially because you can see other peoples views of the exact same place. Amazing.
I never quite understand why people think that information like this on the Internet will cause child-molesters to target those particular addresses. Such information is available just by roaming around houses and seeing which ones children are playing around. Also, I imagine most child-molesters are opportunists and wouldn't do such planning (although it must vary).Still, I suppose despite this, better safe than sorry.

Great feature. Another great reason to love Flickr.pity the detail on the maps isn't a patch on Google's (for areas that are NOT the USA of course)
