tuaw.com — Conceited Software/TouchFree has just released its GUI jailbreak. This is the "final bit" that performs the jailbreak after you run OktoPrep in 1.1.1 and then upgrade to 1.1.2. The Software runs under OS X and Windows, grabs the data off your iPod touch or iPhone, upgrades it with the Jailbreak, installs Installer.app and SSH.app, and reloads it...

Am I the only one thinking the old Quake 2 mod was making a comeback?

That's seriously like saying that installing Linux is stealing from Microsoft. I guarantee that most of the people jailbreaking their iPhones are just doing it to install apps. Most of them probably still use AT&T.

Nope, didn't work for me. I had 1.1.1 with a bunch of apps and following the 1.1.2 jailbreak, including installing OktoPrep first.Ran the updater and now I back to the crappy app-less iphone. Everything's gone. What did I do wrong ?

I bought iphone with 1.1.2 and 2 days ago did jailbreak, everything worked fine. Now I have 1.1.2 fully jailbroken, BUT I now have a problem with reception. I have a legit AT&T sim card and contract, and now i have low signal everywhere. and I know that something wrong with my iphone, because my g/f has an iphone too (not jailbroken) and I spent the whole day comparing bars, and I always have 1 bar less and sometimes I just have 1 bar, where 5 bars suppose to be. The signal is even changing in the phone is staying on the same place. This is a very big problem, because some of my friends just told me that my phone was'n answering a few times when I was home (suppose to be 5 bar signal).Any sugestion? Thanks
