store.apple.com — Well, it seems that a 1GB Nano is upod us. This explains why the US Apple store was down at the time of this being written. It seems that the Australian store jumped the gun and uploaded the specifications sheet early.

I have a 60gb Ipod. I have older 10gb Mini (in 3 colors) when the 60 is too inconvieniant. But I also have a 4gb Nano, and a 2gb Nano. I'm going to buy this one because I think sometimes having the choice is good. I still am going to buy a black 60gb Ipod as well.I already have an 1gb and 512 Ipod Shuffle, but I think the difference between the is big enough to warrant another purchase.

It's a great idea if you like the idea of iPod Lite, but why not just cough up an extra fify bucks and double the memory? On second thought, why doesn't Apple release a 512MB nano too? I'm not trying to make fun of it (I'm about ready to buy a nano, and 1GB is perfect for my 1.30GB iTunes library), but seriously--why'd it take so long?

Wow!Man, we really need to thin the herd a bit. Some of you folks really live in the shallow end of the gene pool! These nano's are a great solution for a great deal of people. Read "kfan87" (at 08:03 PM 2/07/06 ) long note above and join the rest of us in reality. But I suppose that's the beauty of anonymous posting... it's great for both the decent and the dumbass. I'd just like to see more decent and less dumbass! YIKES!
