Perhaps you can create some kind of ranking of film schools that takes this into consideration. This way, you can warn potential applicants of where they will most likely get their money's worth.
sorry to hear it bro, i'm struggling to make films too. i'm sure NYU on the resume will still float your resume to the top of the pile sometimes though.
Why are people commenting on your comments? Hope you are joking. You posted a diatribe/manifesto on Digg dude.I also am not talking about a generic major, I went to undergraduate school for Chemical Engineering at one of the top engineering schools in the country (and paid 50% more than the number you have been talking about). To be surprised that their facilities and equipment are not the same up to date equipment and materials as the thriving company I joined after graduation is ridiculous.Keep whining though, helps make my points.
Um yeah...If the case was you sat in a class where you knew more than the professor consistently, worked on 40 year old equipment consistently and had professors who only showed up half the time, transfer to another school. Again your actions based on your experience could have resulted in a different outcome. Instead, your choice; sit there, pay for it, post on Digg. Excellent choice, well done. Thanks for the ethics lesson. I don't measure the value of my responses, or posts in Diggs, but I guess if I were insecure I would.
