alexandrubucur.com— On 17 September 1991 Linus was announcing the first version of the Linux kernel. (And yes in Romania it's 17 September already :D)

I just used Linux on the Server AND Client end!Plus I have a server setup downstairs, and am about to get a laptop with Linux on it. So that will make three Linux installs for one person. Technically, I'd need THREE Windows licenses for that, wouldn't I?
If your os is being destroyed every time you upgrade your doing something very very wrong. Now I won't say that I've never had my system broken from an upgrade cause yeah it's happened once or twice but I also have a very high volume of tweaks on most of my systems because that's what I do to them (I think it's fun, don't ask me why). On your average every day system where the operator isn't intent on finding ways to break it (like I do) this should be an almost non issue.Perhaps you should try reading the documentation or checking out the forums before you declare that it is Linux that is broken. You may be doing something wrong and not know it. It happens.BTW: Linux is used to run complex servers, science and math workstations, create movies and television shows, etc. So yes it can be used for more then what you say.

Since when do words in English follow conventions? There are way too many rule breakers to count.
