thomasdemaesschalck.com — Fast Company published a fairly long article in the Sept. edition of their magazine about the 17yr old Ashley Qualls. She runs a MySpace layout and graphics site called Whateverlife. I never heard about this site before but she seems to be doing amazingly well, according to the article the 3yr old site receives 7 million unique visitors per month!

Duncarob, the people who use AdBlock are the people, who would NEVER click on any of your ads anyway. We are defending our wish not to waste our time downloading your ads. You aren't losing money because we never would have clicked if we had to see them.

Here is what she did:1. She sized up a market and figured out the mindset. Her idea might not have worked at a corporation, not with rainbows and smiley faces. 2. She came up with an idea3. She filled a gap. I don't get why people are so jealous. I'll bet most people who commented about her could do as well and make as much money. Her story is just one example of truly "getting" a market, figuring out how to fill a niche. There are still niches out there.
