I think I'd rather either a 17" or 12".... 15" is just too in between. I either want something nice and small or something that could double as a desktop. The MacBooks are already a little pricey now. I might think about selling my kidney on eBay too.....
I prefer the 17" simply because of screen real estate. As for the "glossfied" screen, finger prints don't show nearly as much as my 17" HP laptop.I prefer the non-glossed screen over the smudgy-gloss screen.
this is funny, i just had a conversation with my wife about the 12" - was going to get her the 14/15 or 17she'd rather have the 12" over others because of the weight & size of the notebook
I just want a 12" book, be it Mac or i. The 15" is too big for what I want (portability is important in my case), and the 12" iBook or MacBook would be ideal. Power is less of an issue for me in that regard (I already have a beefy 20" iMac at home to take care of that). I'm hoping April will be my month.
Screw it I just cancelled my MBP order. I'm going to wait for either the new iBook if they build one with a decent screen, or wait until the Mac Book Pro line gets into a rev B. I have a 12" PB already and love it. It's near perfect, and only the beta of Lightroom seems to really hurt it performance wise. The perfect laptop would be an Intel 12" MBP with a 12" resolution bumped screen. My MBP order went from Feb 21 back to March 20, and I hate waiting for stuff.

"is there even any software that runs natively on intel chipset yet? or is everything still dead slow on rosetta?"Um, yes. There is quite a bit of software out there. http://www.macintouch.com/imacintel/ubinaries.html
