@dclowd9901Why not? What's wrong with the desire to achieve a lot in your life, rise to the top of career hierarchy, learn new stuff, actualize yourself in this way? Many people have some useless* hobbies, like home improvement or collecting something, that could have been done more efficiently if you hired a professional to do it. (*I understand that tastes differ and some people like to do it, but this is my opinion and it has right to exist.) Why can't your work become your hobby? Speaking of IT jobs, I really enjoy learning new technologies and products that are directly related to my work and will help me to improve my career, and I think that this can be considered a hobby, so what's wrong with it?Or in order to live "the right way" you gotta have two kids, a house, a dog and barbecue on weekends?
