"Buy organic food. Expensive.Use a multivitamin. $10 a month."What does organic have to with vitamins? Organic means less pesticides, not more vitamins per se. Jeez.

Actually many scientists have come out saying that the RDA is much too low for many of the vitamins.

Here's a couple of points on this post...1. Fatty meat is supposed to taste better, but it is SATURATED FAT and a lot of that isn't good for you. But one thing that's not mentioned is that Carbs and Protein equal about 4 calories per gram...where FAT equals about 9 calories per gram. So if you take a lean piece of meat with say 5 grams of fat, you get 45 calories from fat...where as if you have a fatty piece of meat like 15 grams of fat, that's 135 calories from fat. Add that too the rest of the calories of the piece of meat and you end up increasing your calories for no more substance.2. Bottled water... I work for local government TV and we have done pieces on our water department. Municiple Water is governed by the EPA which has very strict rules regarding how water is treated. Bottled Water is governed by the FDA which has much less strict rules. However, many bottled water companies get their water from the municipalities and further treat it for TASTE, they really don't make it any healthier. That's why there's a push to make bottled water companies put in clear print if their water comes from the city water sources.3. Eggs... I wouldn't say eliminate the baby-chick part of the egg all the time, but I also wouldn't eat it all the time either. The baby-chick part of the egg is the tasty part, but it also is less good for you. So when making an omlete or scramby eggs, try mostly egg whites and throw in a baby-chick-part here and there.

If you do a search on Google scholar, you can find numerous studies done on this exact topic.http://scholar.google.com/scholar?hl=en&lr=&q=fresh+frozen+foods+vitamin+loss&btnG=SearchFor example, if you take a look at page five of the PDF from the very first website of the search results, you will find a bunch of comparisons between fresh and frozen. I do not have time to read the details of the study, so if for some reason the results this particular study are not exactly what we are looking for, then just move on to one of the other ones.http://www.ajcn.org/cgi/reprint/24/5/562

This article made me want to buy a chicken. But the problem is I have no where to put it. Then I thought, maybe the chicken should go in my bathtub. But then where do I shower? I guess I could shower in the sink?

I'm not sure about the fatty meat part as that is contradicted a lot in the news.Eating eggs at home and bringing lunch is a good idea. We spend a lot eating out.
