I definitely agree with this. I know ghosts don't exist, but that doesn't stop the concept of them being scary. The mind can play tricks, especially in the dark when its quiet, when your senses are deprived.
If nothing else, ghosts exist in people's minds and can have a very real effect on the world. For example, people are less likely to buy a house if they know there was a gruesome murder in it.
@doctechnical Just because the evidence is not there, does not mean that one should stop trying to obtain said evidence. There is a great possibility that ghosts ARE real, and we simply do not have the technology to prove it. It's no less absurd scientifically than trying to create cold fusion or perpetual motion devices. snobrder218 has observed something, come up with a hypothesis, and is keeping his mind open to potential evidence supporting said hypothesis. Sounds like he's going about it the right way to me.
