thegreenhead.com— This is the brightest flashlight available, producing 15,000,000 candlepower, 6x as bright as the lighthouse at Montauk Point, New York, and is visible from more than six miles away!

the megaray light is by far a brighter light than this, an 85 watt halogen bulb and a plastic reflector can not go up against a 175 watt xenon arc bulb and precise opticsya know about how it seems the specs of mass market products are always happily padded? (think hard drive gigabytes, speaker "watts", etc.) This is just another of those.
Question: Why would anyone actually need a flashlight this powerful?I mean, sure, it might be useful for killing vampires, but other than that, isn't it just a matter of time before someone shines this at an airplane and is arrested/shot for terrorist-like acts?
Hehe, I was planning on commenting about the airplanes when I got to the bottom. If it really goes six miles, you could take down airplanes with this thing--at least small ones. The streetlight thing is cool, too. With just a little more power you could blast some light right up into space and take out satellites and space shuttles! Neat.

Haha, this is funny because I my friend had one at the beach last night at Morro Bay, CA. The thing is frickin' bright beyond belief.http://www.flickr.com/photos/bpatubo/48543696/
