You seem to be a web developer, not a designer.Typography is one of the most important aspects of design. Sure, you can't use your own typefaces for body text since they need to be cross-browser compatible, but what about headers, subheads, etc.? Google "20 Websites with Beautiful Typography" and you'll see what I mean. And imagery and colour choice are equally as important to a design, if your client is clueless about what they want, you're going to need to make suggestions. Or if they give you colours or photos to use, you'll want to try and get matching photos or colours for consistency throughout the website.KeyCue is just a system utility, but it helps with being productive. Don't you try to be as efficient as possible? And of course, you want to create elegant intelligent code that's as non-repetitive as possible, but you've never needed to create two separate websites (or more) with the same types of elements? Doctype, Reset CSS, nothing?OnTheJob (or Billings, which is what I use) doesn't just track time, it sorts clients and their jobs, invoices, and calculates hourly pay based on your preferences. I can track time with a clock if I want to, but it will never give me this sort of efficiency and organization.

Well when you submit a bunch of stuff regardless of quality, you're bound to have something that's halfway decent eventually.
