The biggest problem that I foresee is that if they do something like nerf the mouse turn speed its going to turn most pc gamers away from even playing against console gamers. If for example they slow it down so when you flick your mouse across the pad instead of doing a full 180 you only do 90 or even less so you then need to pick your mouse up and put it back down over the other side and flick it again to get all the way around I know I wouldn't bother playing under those conditions. It would frustrate and annoy PC gamers. But on the other hand, to do nothing at all would give the console players no chance of winning.
@leobaby:Exactly. All of the name-brand cables are actually just as cheap as the off-brand "crap" cables, anyways, except they have markups in the thousands of percents. For instance, my cousin worked at Best Buy and bought an $80 HDMI cable for $5 (employee discounts let them purchase anything for 5% above the price Best Buy pays for the products). Ever since then, I've always just bought whatever cable was cheapest (as long as it's not using tin connectors, or such).
seriously PC fans, Try a fps on a console, its great! Most PC gamers write off console FPS cus they cant get the hang of the controls after the first 5 mins and write it off as s**t. I bet it took you more than 5 mins to master a keyboard and mouse the first time you loaded up a PC FPS.
"The fluidity of motion and the quickness of second natured actions (like reloading, crouching, or anything that isn't aiming and shooting) whilst using a keyboard against a controller is laughable."WTF? just as easy..or perhaps easier on a console controller. You have obviously never really played a console FPS for a decent amount of time. Dont blame the equipment if you simply dont have the 733t console skillz.
Holly s**t! More wishful-thinking CRT devotees than I expected here. Seriously, if you think that your flickering behemoth is in any way better then my 42" Panasonic plasma, you're on crack.
For most type of games, I prefer a gamepad. Mice/keyboard is more accurate for FPS and strategy, but I'd rather use a gamepad than a mouse for something like Madden or a racing game.
