anomalies-unlimited.com — Found were 716 stone 'disks' described as "obviously fashioned by the hand of an intelligent creature." Etched in its face was a very fine groove spiraling out from the center; closer inspection revealed the 'spiral' to be an almost microscopic, continuous line of what appeared to be writing. Placed on a turntable the disk emitted a strange 'hum'.

cheeseness, dont even try to convince me that communism tells all the truth, all the time. i lived in china for most of my life before realizing what a hellhole it was and getting the hell outta there. "free speech" is a luxury, not a right, as is the truth. and communism is about keeping the people in power in power. do you really think the gov't of china will let something be released that could destabilize it? not only is it bad for the economy, which means the top ppl in china will make less money, it will also throw them out of the position of power which they so enjoy.

"and communism is about keeping the people in power in power."Yeah, it's a good f**king thing that the USA isn't like that. And China being a good example of Communism is like calling Nazi Germany a good example of cultural celebrations.

If anyone would take a closer look they would notice that image is looks REALLY similar to worn out rotors from a car. (You know, the part of the wheels in which the brake shoes hit in order to stop the car....)

"Etched in its face was a very fine groove spiraling out from the center"This would be an ancient CD not a hard disk. The "grooves" on a hard disk do not spiral outward, they are unconnected circles inside each other. DUH.

This just in: After decoding, a large segment of the bits in the disk's spiral groove were found to be an ancient copy of the dos game 'Doom'.
