I have to agree. Every time I install it I have to pick apart every setting in the options menu to make everything stop. I think all of the pop-ups should be defeated by default and turn them on if you want them. Case in point:"Do you want FireFox to save this password?"No. f**k no. No one in their right minds saves their passwords on their computer, why would I want my browser to?But in all fairness, I still wouldn't use another browser.

Linkification, Text-to-image, GameFOX, Greasemonkey and a few others are all I need.

UrlbarExt adds a few options right to the Location Bar, one of them is an Up arrow to go "up one level". I used it all the time. You can set the addon to remove the features you don't want too. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/875 ...

I really dig Locationbar² for my "up a level" needs. It parses the URL so that each level is clickable, and presented with clear dividers. It also gets rid of the http:// and/or https://, etc. All customizable, of course. I'm diggin it.Screen grab:http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/9959/screengrab1. ...
