Wow, again, another SDCC report and not mentioning about the experience of buying comics, commissioning a sketch from an artist, discovering a new indy publisher, interviewing a comics team, attending a how-to-draw workshop... Why does SDCC even bother mentioning they are a comics convention anymore. It's all the same Hollywood garbage I can see on worthless E channel.
i too live in san diego. However, I apologize to digg for this senseless comment. We're not all douchebags here, most of us stay pretty classy.I got a sketch and got to chat with xkcd author randall munroe. Regardless of where I lived, that would've been worth the trip for me.
I hit Dragon*Con in Atlanta every year since I live in Atlanta, but would like to make SDCC one year. Maybe sometime when I have more vacation time handy...
