The goal of bodybuilders isn't to be as healthy as possible, it is to encourage hypertrophy - often at the expense of overall health and wellness if you're hardcore enough. Not that I disagree about eggs though.

I completely agree with you, these "claims" are mainly used to sell books or perpetuate food myths. Pom juice, the latest "fad" drink. Although blueberries are highest of all foods with Antioxidents, you can't "Linus Pauling" your way to weight loss etc. by just eating "Shuper Sfoods!"
