gizmodo.com — Despite semi-denials from Microsoft about the existence of the ZunePhone, we still have it on good word that the phone will be launched some time this year. And if you take all the patents Microsoft's filed lately and look at them through a ZunePhone lens, you'll see that there's even more evidence to prove that it's coming.

Actually from what I last heard the brown is selling better than the other colors....Also hopefully it is priced a little more reasonably than the iPhone.....I might have considered any iPhone if it had not been so much!

Pocket PCs have always had an on-screen keyboard. My latest Pocket PC / cell phone has a fold-out keyboard, but I still usually use the on-screen one. It simply works.

@davidf01,I had two PDAs before the Newton came along. Both were by Sharp. Other earlier PDAs included the Atari Portfolio and the Psion. In fact when the Newton came out, the magazines had side-by-side comparisons with other PDAs. The only Newton "innovation" was a handwriting recognition system tat didn't work.Nice try though. Keep the faith and keep drinking the Kool-ade.

@ Hairy - LOL! Swapped a hard drive.... that's pretty hardcore. That's right up there with a Liquid cooled SLI set up. Your right I'm way off, you can walk into any computer store buy the top of the line video card, CPU, Heatsink, SATA HD, anything and just slap it in your Mac. WOW I was totally wrong. "Right now Mac is at 3% market share.-Actually we like it that way. It means we'll never have to deal with idiots like you."Was I the one who posted the original post? No it was a Mac fan boy pounding his ichest demanding that Mac is better than Windows. You Mac fan boys are always in the face of widows users. So don't make it sound like your a quiet little community. Bottom line guys - the truth, I could care less either way. Use whatever suits you. I would love it if the MAC OS X could run any software and be installed on any PC hardware configuration. In other words be a true alternative to Windows. Right now its limited. I have to purchase Mac hardware and ONLY use Mac compatible software.

@NateB2: I dunno, last time I checked, having "*huge*" R&D labs isn't an innovation.I'll check out the other things you mentioned, though. Microsoft does get a fairly bad rap when they do swipe ideas off of another company, but when Apple does it, people regard it as muy spectacular.

This is typical and I predicted they would have an i-phone rip off here last month. It will suck ass just as much as the current zune. If people whine and cry that mac is not original open your eyes- M$ could have developed something like this years ago but didn't because they are not original. Time to copy someone else and cram it down every ones throat. Business as usual.
