news.cnet.com— Some popular Web companies may be vulnerable to the economic slowdown. Do they face an ill fate similar to that of the beloved delivery service of the last bubble?

I'm going to have to disagree with you. Facebook isn't making much as it is, it could be devastating of them to start picking up extra companies that also don't make much.
"...they want a few songs up from an album and want people to buy the rest."Eerily similar to the mode of putting a few "hit" singles in radio rotation with hopes of selling the whole CD. That model's just a f**king booming success right now.The more things change, the more they stay the f**king same.
Is there going to be an economic crisis in Second Life? --- if not I might join to escape my reality ;- ). I don't completely agree with the list -- I could care less about second life. Hasn't Ask.com been dead for ages? The list seems more like categories like If Zilliow will go under then so will Truelia (I think I spelt it right). And some items are serving niche markets like meebo and pandora. Of all the bookmarking sites I like Digg. I guess there is something of everyone out there. I guess someone took the time to generate a list and promote talks.Overall I think, AdSense concept in general will start scaling back.

Web 2.0 what a joke. That's what happens when you put marketing people with no talent in charge of technology.
