@christianwNo such thing as an Intel iMac with core solo. By the way it's spelled "Mac" not "MAC" for a reason, and it's because when you capitalize the letters in a name it usually means that it's an acronym.Although it would be cool if MAC stood for Macintosh Apple Computers.
mac Mac MAC mAc MaC like pac-man.ill capitalize love any way i see fit and emptying trash is for sissies. get a bigger HD instead! (this is a good technique for building rationalization skills too! i NEED more space boss, gotta get that upgrade) :D
This list boils down to "don't run as many processes."Gosh. I just don't know what I'd do without such sage advice. Who would have thought that turning things off would help other things run faster?
Never CPUs, and especially ones in laptop computers, run in a lot of different speeds so that the fans doesn't need to work so much etc and it saves battery life. But yes, when it needs to use higher CPU speeds, it usually speeds them up.
