Mixed marriages like that are why Unitarian-Universalist churches were invented. Whether you are Protestant, Catholic, Quaker, Jewish, or atheist, everybody can find something that they don't agree with at a UU church. A regular at a UU church went up to a new visitor during coffee hour after the service and asked what he thought of the sermon. The visitor said that he didn't agree with about half of what the minister said, the regular said; "Oh good, you'll fit right in."

God does not condemn the innocent for what they don't know or have no control over. In fact he despised nations that killed their children. God doesn't condemn you for how you were conceived, or born, but how you live your life after the age of accountability. (The age you personally knew better)God is interested in whether you believe, love, and trust in Him, not your circumstances.If you were to believe, and love and follow, you would not go to Hell. He is a God of Love, not of hate. God loves children, because they are helpless in their circumstances and He knows it. So, if you were to believe, you would no longer be going to Hell.
