moronland.net— Q10. Take 1000 and add 40 to it. Now add another 1000. Now add 30. Add another 1000. Now add 20. Now add another 1000. Now add 10. What is the total? (5000 is NOT the answer).

I don't see how anyone could get 5000 from that example? Is there something i'm not seeing? 4000 + 40 + 30 + 20 + 10 = 4100.I'll admit that I do add left to right instead of the norm right to left. Maybe that helped?
Maths is infact more technically correct English. Why? The subject is Mathmatics, not Mathmatic (that's an adjective) the British maintain the pluralization in the abbriviation- which is infact correct even if it sounds wierd to us North Americans. I say more technically correct because English is not a dead language and the rules change, Math is completely correct and commonly used throughout North America.
Brain teasers should require a brain. If you didn't get 4100 you just plain suck at math. If you didn't realize that Lions that haven eaten in three years would be dead, you're just retarded.
I got 6 out of the 11 but my answer to the water one was more clever but I guess fails to meet the requirements. pour the water from your first jug in. pour oil on top. pour the second jug on top of that. I guess the oil would act as a separator of sorts. dang it. Stop with the damned water vs. ice argument. You people and your stupid terminology

I hate to sound like a smart-ass, but I got all the answers. They were really not too hard.
