i work for t-mo, and I can say that out of this guys 11 "confessions" about 2 are true (the unlock thing and the wal-mart thing). We are not in the business of giving s**t away, so the chances that we will is very slim.

I used to work for T-Mobile too and I can agree that pretty much none, if any, of the article is true if you're calling 1-800-T-Mobile directly. However, this is from a third-party retailer and some of their rules are different.
