Nikola Tesla, inventor of, well everything we use today. AC power? Him. Radio? Him. Applied robotics? Him. Induction motors, logic gates, come on! The man invented the foundations for our current level of technology! And still we get "marconi invented the radio!" (nope. Tesla did years before marconi. The patent argument was even settled in Tesla's favor!) "Edison brought us power!" Darn it! Edison wanted DC power everywhere! He even went as far as to electricute animals in front of audiences to try to convince people that AC was more dangerous than DC) The man had a mind seen once in a species, and we're forgeting him to time.
Chuck Peddle - Commodore pioneer responsible in many ways for the birth of personal computing. He released a kit computer (KIM-1) the same time as Steve Wozniak. Was responsible for the 6502 which powered the likes of the C64, BBC Micro, Atari 2600 & Apple ][. He was also part of Commodore and the PET computers which led into the VIC-20, C64 (the highest every selling single model of computer), etc before the then expensive (IBM) PC's even started to enter the consumer market.
