I have an Ipod Touch but that's about it that I have made by Apple. I'll take a half priced laptop with the same specs if not better oscillating between windows and linux on it any day of the week over a macbook.

Hope you all don't mind me pimping my friend's Flickr stream, but I think he had a much better idea for photos to celebrate the 10th year of the cuddly iMac...http://www.flickr.com/photos/daveward/sets/7215760 ...

Oh, RAM is always a hosing, as it is with any OEM; Apple is just worse than the rest. (Except when they have "deals" that mean "only slightly above what you can purchase it for from NewEgg.) Apple likes to overcharge for RAM and hard drives, which is annoying. Never, EVER buy anything over stock. Just get the RAM elsewhere and toss it on.

@macparrotcuz your so mature....by specifically pinpointing the flaws in my comment...i also like that racist touch by referring to me as simply "boy"...instead of saying something like "you little boy" to make it seeem as though i'm immatureso, basically u just sounded like a child saying ..."i know you are but what am i"....but your soooo much better cuz you have a whac.....homo

I have the original iMac G3. It has OS 9 installed and a whopping 32MB of RAM. :D
