mentalfloss.com — I?m not a champion Scrabble player by any means - I often resort to words like ?at? and ?it? just to use up a turn. But with this list, hopefully I?ll be a little more creative when using tiny little words.

My go-to scrabble word is ai.An ai is three-toed sloth: a sloth that has three long claws on each forefoot and each hindfoot.

First of all... this is dumb. I love scrabble... but I don't break out dictionaries... If everyone knows the word... it's good... if only 1 person doesn't know the word "fine" but they aren't invited to play next time : / I thought "nth" was the only "english" word with 3 consonants and no vowels... but ok. I used to f**k people up with that when I was bored in school. People being teachers.

I guess I need a new dictionary.

I already knew 3 of these. I feel smart. (Aa, Zax, Qua) Qaid is also a good one for a Q with no U.

AFAIK, zo is the only valid two-letter word containing z. At least, that's what PODSOWS says. Though I'm using an outdated one. There's a lot of techie words that's missing in there.
