I've got almost 3 weeks now.... this is the second time I quit. The first time I made it 9 months. I would have to agree about the 10% of the time being a bitch....It being my second go-around, I know what some of my weakpoints are so I am taking those into account.... a) I am no longer smoking weed (association with smoking)b) avoiding excessive drinking and trying not to drink in barsc) cut out caffeine and other sugar drinks (only water and milk)d) trying to exercise on a regular basisThese steps have helped make it easier but everyday is still a new adventure....

My biggest weak point for me is alcohol. I feel your pain, on the one hand you really do want to quit but then those demons get the best of you.

EXERCISE!! So far it's been the best way for me to cut the cravings. I feel worn out and don't want to move afterwards enough that I don't even want to go outside to smoke a cig.

All good things in your list, especially if you live in a state where you can smoke in bars. But the best point on your list is exercise. The most successful part about the last time I quit was that I started working out at the same time. When you combine no longer smoking with working out, you really do start to feel great. The first month or so of working out I felt really worn out after a workout, but after that I would almost feel "high" after a workout. Really helped to take my mind off of smoking.
