Sounds like what I have been using in ASP.NET for quite some time now... I looked at RoR, but I could not justify learning another language for something I already do... I think RoR is a fad and Web buzz language right now. I am sure it has its pros and cons, but it is not a revalation by any means. Oh, and Visual Studio Express is free now, so no reason to not check it out. Not that I advocate anything M$, but many corporate programmers who already use VB can take it to their web projects and for free now...
