While some of those reasons are valid, others are just plain dumb. I mean just look at these..."1) Your batteries might swell, explode, or stop working due to heating problems. Your case will be warped out of shape in the process."Buy an AppleCare warranty. You would be dumb to buy almost any computer without an extensive warranty."2) The name “Macbook Pro” is considered horrible, and generally not the new status symbol your $2000+ notebook should be."Your name, Elliott Back is a horrible name. So bad infact, I refuse to read your blog. See how dumb that made me look?"4) The Macbook Pro is shoddily and quickly manufactured in China. It may or may not have manufacturing defects that will need later repair, such as a loose fan."Again, get a damn warranty.Basically, these reasons won't stop me from getting a MacBook or MacBook Pro.

I've been here before you get burried for it, but here I go again. I have a MacBook, and I think this list is more propaganda than fact: "The Macbook Pro is shoddily and quickly manufactured in China. It may or may not have manufacturing defects that will need later repair, such as a loose fan" What a crock of s**t!!!

Actually, the Macbook Pros are made by Chinese factory workers working 80 hours a week. Those aren't exactly the best conditions for a high-quality product, which is why so many Macbook Pros have manufacturing defects. Yes, buying a warrantee, or even the 90 day one, will cover you, but wouldn't it be better to buy a product that won't fall apart on you?
