You can use fake names. But everyone is used to Facebook being real people... if you started going by a fake name now it would be weird.I like the fact that everyone uses their real name. It makes Facebook a searchable directory. It has value that way.Myspace lets you change your display name, and you don't even have to put in a real name when you sign up. I tried to search for my friend Brad on Myspace... but he changed his name to B-rad. I couldn't find him.Great job!
So now the wisdom of mature years is even disrespected by users of facebook. Why is it that western society is the only society that does not value their parents and grand parents and anyone who has lived for more that 30 years. I am on face book and twitter and myspace (find this one a challenge) and digg and and and. I am also 56 going on 20 so please leave us do what it is that makes us happy isn't this what life is all about happiness and loving and accepting others. The older generation has something to offer so why not sit and just listen to some, you may be surprised. Have a great day...Blessings .....
@dacheetah: that'd fine for you. i happen to like clubs and bars. it's possible there are photos of me having a cigarette. it's not that these things are "not safe" for parents, i just don't want to be nagged.
Your post is a classic example of why:-You used the phrase "56 going on 20"-You have to continually mention the fact that you're older-You said "...Blessings...." with a s**tload of ellipses. Blessings? Really.
